Strengthening the Executive Leadership

UserTesting continues to add some of the technology industry’s top
leaders to its executive team—with the latest appointments of Kaj van de
Loo joining as Chief Technology Officer, Mona Sabet to the newly created
role of Chief Corporate Strategy Officer, and Mike Dillon as a new
independent director to the company’s board.

A global technology executive with more than 20 years of experience, van
de Loo brings a passion for delivering innovative products for both
small and large companies. He most recently served as Chief Product
Officer at ForeSee where he was responsible for the company’s full
product lifecycle, from research and data to product management and
design to operations for the entire product portfolio. Prior to ForeSee,
he’s held executive leadership roles at Oracle and SAP, as well as
leading product teams at start-ups Clairmail (acquired by Monitise) and
Questra. Van de Loo is a start-up advisor and a board member and is
credited with several patents and patent applications.

“The more I learned about UserTesting’s approach and commitment to
developing a world-class customer experience platform, it was easy to
see why so many of the top global brands rely on them to create
impactful customer experiences,” said van de Loo. “The opportunity to
make such a meaningful contribution to the evolution of UserTesting and
their growing platform is what drew me to this opportunity.”

Sabet brings to UserTesting more than two decades of experience driving
growth in technology businesses, having led business and corporate
development, legal, and strategic planning. Previously, she served as
managing director at Tribal Advisors, where she helped early-stage tech
companies develop their growth strategies and negotiate successful
exits. As Corporate Vice President, Business Development at Cadence, she
led mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions and venture
investments, delivering tens of millions of dollars in incremental
revenue. Sabet has been an operator in two early-stage startups:
Coverity led the market in the automation of the identification of
software vulnerabilities; Viblio pioneered automated tagging of
user-generated videos using machine learning and computer vision.

“Having had the opportunity to evaluate a number of technology
companies, I’ve come to understand that a relevant and even captivating
customer experience is a powerful business differentiator. UserTesting
is operating at the center of obtaining meaningful and relevant insights
in order to deliver truly exceptional customer experiences,” said Mona
Sabet. “My passion is helping companies continually evolve and grow and
I’m thrilled to be joining UserTesting at such a transformative and
exciting time in the company’s history.”

During his more than twenty-five-year career, Dillon has served as a
senior executive of technology companies ranging from pre-IPO start-ups
to global Fortune 500 companies. He most recently served as EVP, general
counsel, and corporate secretary at Adobe where he was part of the
executive team that transformed the company into one of the strongest
performing digital experiences cloud subscription businesses. Prior to
Adobe, he held executive level general counsel roles at Silver Springs
Networks, where he helped prepare the company for its IPO and has held
similar senior-level executive roles with Sun Microsystems.

“For most of my career, I’ve worked with organizations focused on data
and analytics,” said Dillon, “Now, I’m excited to have the opportunity
to work with a company that provides the insights behind the numbers. I
understand the value and importance of being a customer-centric
organization and UserTesting not only helps its customers achieve that
goal, they live and breathe customer mindset every day.”

“While it’s satisfying to see such a strong performance to start the
year, what’s most exciting are the opportunities that are ahead of us—to
help even more companies make informed business decisions by empowering
them with the human insights that will allow them to build better
customer experiences at scale,” said Andy MacMillan, CEO of UserTesting.
“We’re also very fortunate to be able to continue to add such
exceptional executive talent with the addition of Kaj, Mona, and Mike to
UserTesting’s C-suite and Board of Directors.”
