Empower AI (formerly NCI Information Systems), a leading provider of artificial intelligence and other technologies to U.S. government agencies, today announced that it has won a new contract to support the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command. The task order, awarded under ISEC’s Total Engineering and Integration Services IV contract, has total contract value of up to $14 million if all options are exercised.
Under the contract, Empower AI will support ISEC’s efforts to modernize the National Defense University’s systems infrastructure, including audiovisual capabilities at Fort McNair in Washington, D.C., and at Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads, in Norfolk, Va. The initiative will include upgrades at several auditoriums at the two bases, providing services such as engineering, furnishing, installation, securing, and testing (EFIS&T) of the C4I/IT systems, integration of systems, project management support data and on-site training.
“Supporting ISEC and its cyber-defense mission is an honor for Empower AI,” said Paul Dillahay, president and CEO of Empower AI. “We look forward to providing the Joint Staff and NDU with the technology and services they need to educate and inform our warfighters of national military strategy in a secure, integrated manner.”
