Stryker, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies, announced today that it will showcase its new, combined foot and ankle portfolio incorporating Wright Medical’s products at the 2021 American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) Vegas Scientific Conference from May 18-21, 2021.
“We are dedicated to helping foot and ankle surgeons treat their patients more efficiently while enhancing patient care and excited to showcase our combined portfolio—in person—for the very first time,” said Patrick Fisher, Vice President and General Manager of Stryker’s Foot & Ankle business unit. “We now have the ability to offer an even more robust product offering that includes the legacy Wright product line. We’re pleased to have broadened Stryker’s foot and ankle product portfolio while complementing the full trauma and extremities product offering.”
Stryker acquired Wright Medical in November 2020 and will feature a variety of products from the combined Foot & Ankle portfolio at ACFAS, including:
- Infinity with Adaptis: Total ankle replacement system
- Gravity Synchfix: Syndesmosis fixation device
- Prophecy: Preoperative navigation system
- PROstep MIS: Minimally invasive surgery
- Hoffmann LRF Hexapod: Deformity correction and limb reconstruction
- T2 ICF nail: Intramedullary nailing system
- VariAx 2: Plating system
- Augment: Bone graft
- Ortholoc ™ 2 LapiFuse ™: Triplanar correction system
Stryker will also debut its Allofiber™ Demineralized Bone Fibers, which are used during foot and ankle joint fusion surgeries, during the conference. Allofiber bone fibers are comprised of 100 percent cortical bone and offer putty-like handling and osteoinductivity, and have received early, positive feedback in the operating room. Allofiber does not break apart with irrigation when packed in a surgical site, and its aseptic processing preserves and exposes endogenous growth factors.
