Skilljar,
the leading customer training and education platform, today announced
that Skilljar
Connect 2019
, the company’s second annual customer conference, will
be held on November 4th and 5th in Seattle.

Connect 2019 will provide a dedicated forum for customer education
experts and thought leaders to discuss how training is accelerating
product adoption, deepening customer engagement and driving revenue.
More than 200 executives across SaaS, hardware, medical devices, and
financial services industries are expected to attend.

Skilljar is also officially launching the Skilljar
Customer Community
today. This is an online forum for Skilljar users
to share their insights and tap into the expertise of fellow customer
education professionals. The Skilljar Customer Community was designed to
be the go-to destination for sharing and gaining actionable tips,
insights, benchmarks, and inspiration about customer education.

“There are very few opportunities for customer education and training
professionals to share best practices and insights with their peers. At
Skilljar, we see a wide variety of questions about launching a customer
education program, from monetizing training to developing branded
certifications and demonstrating value to the C-suite,” said Sandi Lin,
CEO, Skilljar. “Our customer community offers an opportunity for
connection and sharing year-round, and pairs nicely with Connect’s
intensive two-day forum where attendees can learn actionable strategies
from the people who implement them every day.”

Skilljar’s plans for Connect 2019 come on the heels of an extremely
successful 2018. The company released more than 50 new product features
in 2018, including multilingual Language
Packs
, a Zendesk
integration
and Skilljar
Academy
, a learning platform for Skilljar customers to streamline
and improve their own onboarding and implementation experience. This
type of product innovation also helped drive Skilljar’s customer
expansion, which led to a 125 percent increase in hours spent in
Skilljar’s training ecosystem.

Skilljar has been recognized for the past four years with the Brandon
Hall Group Excellence in Technology Award for Best LMS for External
Training and was recently awarded Best
Corporate Extended Enterprise Learning System
by industry expert
John Leh of Talented Learning.
