Cundiff joins the Schlesinger Group team on the heels of five strategic acquisitions in the past two years by Schlesinger Group and brings 25 years of experience in global leadership in market research and data analytics to the company. Most recently, Cundiff served as Kantar Americas’ CEO and, prior to that, ran Microsoft’s Customer and Market Research team for over a decade. He serves on the LatentView Analytics and Insights Association boards, as well as the University of Washington Center for Sales and Marketing Strategy.
“I am incredibly excited to join Schlesinger Group and am eager to build on the strong business foundation and reputation that Steve and the team have built. I believe that our people, portfolio, and industry position allow us to show the world what a digitally transformed 21st-century research team can do.”
Sarah Schlesinger founded Schlesinger Group in 1966, and Steve Schlesinger has grown his namesake company into a truly dynamic data solutions and research services organization due to his emphasis on strategic growth for the organization and integrating tech into every aspect of the Schlesinger Group offerings. His ongoing goal has been to make market research smarter, faster, and more accessible for knowledge seekers.
“I have the utmost confidence in Reed’s proven industry leadership experience, and I am delighted to announce him as our new CEO,” said Steve Schlesinger. “He has impressed the board with his business acumen, razor-sharp commercial focus, and strong client-centric mindset.”
Schlesinger continues, “Leading this company has been the honor and privilege of a lifetime. My decision to step aside as CEO was not easy, but I am delighted to continue to help oversee the business as Executive Chairman and help Reed and our team write our next chapter. Now is the right time for this transition, as the company is delivering strong performance and is well positioned for continued transformation and success.”
Additionally, Isaac Rogers will take on the role of President, previously held by Mike Sullivan, who will continue as an active advisor to the group and shareholders. Rogers joined Schlesinger Group with the acquisition of 20|20 Research and has been instrumental in driving the changes and growth the company has seen over the past two years as the Chief Strategy Officer.
