TradingView, the global leader in trading software solutions, today
announced that technology executive Pierce Crosby has joined the company
as General Manager, Americas. Crosby was most recently the head of
business development and revenue strategy for a large US social
financial network StockTwits, where he led the growth and development of
the multimillion dollar advertising, data and events businesses as well
as other strategic business initiatives.
At TradingView, Crosby will lead Americas revenue and business
operations, including enterprise services, customer services, marketing,
events and sales. Crosby will bring a combination of enterprise sales
experience, operational improvement and global go-to-market expertise to
his work in ensuring TradingView’s US initiatives. Having driven growth
strategies within several business units at StockTwits, Crosby will also
focus on fueling TradingView’s continued expansion into Europe and Asia.
“Over the past several years, it has been incredible to watch
TradingView’s expansion under the leadership of a top-notch team,” said
Crosby. “I have always been a proponent of their approach to global
markets, and with the development and acquisition of new technologies
like TradeIT,
the team is well positioned to provide trading solutions to the
ever-improving US market. I’m looking forward to helping take the
company to the next level and bringing comprehensive, lightweight
trading tools to traders and investors around the world.”
Crosby spent the last five years at StockTwits in a variety of
leadership roles. Prior to StockTwits, he spent time within Thomson
Reuters’ Breakingviews unit, conducting research on top-tier financial
technology and banking institutions.
“Pierce understands global sales, go-to-market strategy, and customer
satisfaction in a way that few in the investing space can hope to, and
he’s got a proven track record of executing on that,” said Denis Globa,
founder and CEO of TradingView. “He’s joining an already successful,
energetic team at the perfect time to spearhead further sales and
operational expansion for TradingView in the Americas when growth has
really picked up.”
