Gardiner is an exceptional software leader with more than 30 years of experience across global, high-growth cloud businesses. During his tenure as ZoomInfo President and Chief Financial Officer, Gardiner helped significantly scale the business and led the company’s exit, which resulted in the highest return on invested capital in TA Associates’ 50-year history. He also brings in-depth knowledge of website operations and digital experience platform industries to the role, previously serving as Sitecore Chief Financial Officer.
“Today’s IT and marketing teams are more crucial to companies’ business velocity and success than ever before, and Pantheon’s market-leading WebOps platform helps them achieve that success,” said Gardiner. “We have a massive opportunity to refine and scale our operations to capitalize on this market need, and I’m excited to be a part of the next-gen leadership team to create and implement the programs that will generate extraordinary value for our customers and partners.”
Gardiner joins the organization on the heels of its second consecutive inclusion on the Inc. 5000 list, which ranked Pantheon among America’s fastest growing private companies.
“John is the ideal operations and finance leader for Pantheon at this stage of our transformation,” said Zack Rosen, Pantheon CEO and co-founder. “I am confident that his focus on operational excellence and data-driven decision making will enhance every level of the organization and fuel our growth.”
