In keeping with its commitment to help life sciences brands maximize their full market potential, Klick Health today launched Klick Brands, a health-centric brand and design offering, and Studio K, a state-of-the-art in-house broadcast and 360-degree production facility, within its award-winning Creative/Production practice. The large independent health agency’s thriving Social Strategy practice also announced the debut of Klick Influence, its influencer marketing group.
Today’s news highlights Klick’s ongoing growth (including its recently announced global expansion), skyrocketing integrated content business, and focus on supporting life sciences companies across all their healthcare marketing, corporate identity, and content needs.
Klick Brands
Leveraging Klick’s proven success and expertise in helping life sciences companies commercialize and create solutions that engage and educate people about life-saving treatments, Klick Brands takes health-centric brands to a higher level with a health-centric approach.
Evolving the traditional approach to corporate branding, Klick Brands specializes in building health brands from inception at the molecule stage and through to clinical trials– developing the origin story, strategic foundation, personality, and archetype. Klick Brands works across creative design, brand strategy, and medical strategy to better position a brand to resonate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers and make its mark on the world.
“We were inspired by the human condition to establish Klick Brands and help life sciences companies create brands that feel more approachable, familiar, and memorable,” said Group Design Director Jay Schacher. “Our objective is to evolve what the world has come to expect from healthcare brands. We want to bring people closer together through the brand and leave a lasting legacy.”
Studio K
A multi-faceted 360-degree content facility, Studio K was built to support the growth trajectory of Klick’s creative production business, having completed over 700 productions in 2021. The facility brings the technical design, flexibility, and power typically associated with leading broadcast studios to Klick’s downtown Toronto headquarters, giving clients a cutting-edge, value-add toolbox for creating omni-channel content.
Studio K is designed around a sound stage with a cove wall, edit suite, audio recording booth, talent green room, and technical store. It’s yet another step forward for Klick to provide ‘fully stacked productions’–a holistic, proactive, and cost-effective approach that stacks a brand’s content needs into a highly international and strategically designed content shoot (encompassing broadcast, video, stills, experiential assets, behind the scenes, soundbites, audio, influencer, social, and emerging content types) to expand the amount of content that can be delivered in one shoot while simultaneously stretching value for clients.
“I’ve worked in production studios around the world and the production facility we’ve created with Studio K is a dream come true,” said Senior Vice President, Executive Creative Producer Laura Denham. “At Klick, we’re always trying to find new ways to create content, and Studio K allows us to push creative boundaries further and stack each production moment to squeeze every drop of value out for our clients.”
The physical studio space is also bolstered by:
- an expanded Production Business Affairs team, handling everything from content ownership and global creative logistics, to rights and content distribution;
- full 360-degree production offerings, including medical and non-medical original art, experiential, conference and congress production, and live broadcast and digital events capabilities;
- a new Audio Center of Excellence to orchestrate original music and composition, scoring and sound design, sonic branding, and sound FX and audio mixing; and
- Klick Casting–focused on casting services for health content, from patients to celebrities.
To mark the launch of the new production space, Klick commissioned a unique art-tech activation on the studio’s exterior wall by multidisciplinary artist Jason Zante, known for creating artwork for Justin Bieber and Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. The vibrant mural (entitled “Creative Flow”) features three embedded flatscreens connected to studio cameras to provide a front-row, real-time view during filming. The activation showcases the agency’s latest reel of TV commercials and videos when not filming.
Klick Influence
Building on the agency’s award-winning social media expertise in life sciences, Klick’s Social Strategy practice today also announced Klick Influence.
A turnkey influencer marketing offering, Klick Influence leverages Klick’s industry-leading social media strategy and creative, and complements it with fresh creators for any health condition. The offering handles everything from influencer outreach, negotiation, contracting, and management, to content approvals, moderation, and analytics. With a proven business model and approach, designed to keep pharma content safe, Klick Influence specializes in collaborating with authentic and compelling voices of patients, caregivers, and professional influencers across a multitude of health conditions.
“Influencer marketing has come to the pharma industry in a big way and we are expanding our investments in this growing channel,” according to Senior Vice President, Social Strategy, Brad Einarsen. “Today, brands that are invested in social know that the trusted voices of influencers can carry more weight than their own messaging. We’ve been helping a growing number of clients leverage influencer marketing to drive audiences throughout the funnel, from creating simple awareness to driving more detailed consideration and action.”
Group Director Thomas Engstrom added, “Finding, managing, and maintaining influencer relationships in healthcare takes specialized skills that you get from an influencer marketing team like Klick Influence, which works only in pharma, can craft every engagement to fit the industry, and educate regulatory teams on how to remain compliant and safe.”
In related news, Klick today also announced a series of senior creative production hires, as the thriving independent health agency continues to experience exponential growth and evolve in exciting, new ways.
