Universal Gamers Amateur Association (UGAA), an innovative leader in career focused online education that combines with eSports league gaming, is pleased to announce that Jason Argent, former head of 2K Sports publishing, has joined the Board of UGAA .

Jason Argent brings his unique blend of marketing and operational expertise to the UGAA team. From his early career building brands like Taco Bell and Miramax Films, to his extensive experience at Red Bull GmbH running retail and sports marketing, Jason developed a long resume of aggressively growing company profitability, business management, successful product launches, annual brand marketing campaigns, and strategic brand building before joining the growing video game industry in 2008. At 2K, he took his multi-discipline and multi-brand experience to help build 2K Sports into a billion-dollar operation.

About Jason Argent

At 2K, Jason took his multi-discipline and multi-brand experience to help build 2K Sports into a billion-dollar + operation. First as the head of marketing, he managed the brand recognition and the building of multiple sports titles into critically acclaimed marketing and product case studies. He then took on the role of head of business operations for the sports business, managing the P&L, product development, operations and marketing of the business ultimately resulting in more than a 400% revenue increase during his 12-year tenure at the company.

An avid sports fan, outdoorsman and competitive athlete, Jason graduated from UCLA with Psychology and Business Administration degrees. He holds a number of board seats, including the board of the NBA 2K League, an interactive competitive e-sports league.
