FarmRaiser, a cloud-based software provider of a two-sided marketplace and product fundraising tools, today announced it has completed an oversubscribed Series A funding round.
Launched in 2015 to provide digital solutions in a $10 billion segment of the $470 billion charitable giving market, FarmRaiser is engineered to digitize and grow the industry by connecting suppliers with groups that want to hold product fundraisers. The platform provides a unique marketplace for hundreds of vendors supplying thousands of interesting products to fundraising organizations nationwide.
The Series A round was led by new investor 1219 Capital Partners with participation from the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT), and others. Funds will be used for product development, marketing, and customer success. The funds will allow more businesses and charities to manage and grow their product fundraising programs.
