Cloud Logistics by E2open (Cloud Logistics), a leading innovator and provider of modern, easy-to-use transportation management systems (TMS), was chosen by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine as one of the Top Supply Chain Transformations (SDCE 100) for its implementation of a TMS for Hunt Brothers Pizza (HBP), a top provider of pizza to consumers across the country. By installing Cloud Logistics’ TMS, Hunt Brothers Pizza was able to increase the business’s overall savings in transportation costs by five percent and achieve higher levels of growth by increasing productivity.

“Hunt Brothers’ slogan – ‘Made for Me’ – exemplifies our culture of meeting our customers’ need for delicious pizza when they want it, where they want it and how they want it,” said Wade Wickus, vice president of supply chain for Hunt Brothers Pizza. “We required a TMS that matches that philosophy. The TMS from Cloud Logistics gives us all of the functionality needed to manage our distribution network. Instead of spinning our wheels chasing information that was trapped in email or spreadsheets, we’re able to get a clear picture of every shipment in the Logistics Activity Stream. This empowers our team to really focus on optimizing our operations, which ultimately lets us better serve our customers. I’ve worked with a lot of transportation solutions during my career. Without question, I’ve never seen a project provide so much value this quickly and with such ease.”

Each year, SDCE 100 compiles a list of transformative projects that prove supply chain and logistics companies have taken the initiative to deliver bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across the industry. The supply chain projects featured in the list create an industry roadmap to drive operational successes and create a standard of measurement for the next calendar year.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by SDCE for the success of this project and its inclusion in their top 100 for 2018,” said Mark Nix, senior vice president of transportation for E2open and founder of Cloud Logistics. “Hunt Brothers Pizza is an excellent partner, and we are proud to have taken it on the fastest route to value with TMS from Cloud Logistics.”

Hunt Brothers Pizza and Cloud Logistics will give a joint presentation regarding this project at CSCMP Edge in Anaheim, California, on September 17, 2019.
