Aria Systems, the leader in helping enterprises grow subscription- and usage-based revenue, today revealed that the first half of 2019 was the most successful in the company’s history, highlighted by new client wins, existing client renewals and expansions, successful customer go-lives, and entry into new industry verticals. For the first six months of the year, the company exceeded its financial and operational goals and realized over 50 percent growth, compared with the same period last year.

“Thus far, 2019 has been an exciting time for Aria and our clients,” said Tom Dibble, President and CEO of Aria Systems. “Enterprise demand for our solution continued to grow as innovative companies embrace digital transformation strategies that provide an elegant end-customer experience, which ultimately fuels recurring revenue growth. We’re always proud to win new enterprise clients who recognize both the value of a cloud-native, modern billing solution built for today’s dynamic businesses and the end-to-end operational excellence that ensures their initiatives are deployed and supported for long-term success.”

Demand for Aria’s platform continued to grow from within the company’s traditional industry footprint, including media, publishing, automotive and technology, while also stretching into new verticals such as utilities and retail. Since the beginning of the year, Aria has added new customers – including CDS Global, A Hearst Media Company; FirstEnergy; Mindbody; and Sam’s Club – and successfully implemented its platform with multiple Fortune 500 clients. Additionally, existing customers such as Italiaonline and Red Hat not only renewed their contracts, but significantly expanded their use of Aria as they experienced organic growth and added new lines of business.

Traction for vertical-specific solutions also continued to accelerate. The Aria Media Publishing Suite (AMPS), launched late last year, added an additional four new customers to the roster for this vertical, one of whom went live in June across Europe with digital and print media bundles. Aria has experienced significant demand for the AMPS offering to help drive the digital transformation under way within this vertical.

Another indicator of the confidence in Aria is the growth in Revenue Under Management (RUM), the value of the transactions that Aria handles on behalf of its customers, which jumped 53 percent in the first half of 2019, compared with the same period in 2018. This growth in RUM is driven by both Aria’s growing new customer base and an increase in the number of transactions at existing customers.

Operationally, the business was equally successful during the first half of 2019, as Aria achieved uptime of 99.99 percent or better across all environments worldwide. The platform is also now available on both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, making it public cloud agnostic and allowing clients to choose from multiple deployment options.

“Enterprise adoption is now in full swing across multiple industries. Given our product’s proven capabilities and our team’s ability to execute, we are extremely well positioned for the future and are grateful to our customers for helping make Aria’s success a reality,” Dibble concluded.
