Arcfield today announced the appointment of Kevin Kelly, a 30-year defense and intelligence leader, as chief executive officer and chairman, effective immediately. Previously known as CTFV Acquisition Corp. (CTFV), Arcfield also revealed its new company name today. Arcfield is a portfolio company of The Veritas Capital Vantage Fund, L.P.
Composed of two sectors – space and intelligence, and defense and federal civilian – Arcfield develops mission-critical solutions addressing its customers’ most complex challenges. The company builds on a six-decade legacy of serving the defense and intelligence communities, with a deep portfolio of systems engineering and integration, C5ISR and digital transformation solutions in support of multi-domain, national security missions.
“The United States must maintain a consistent technological advantage over its adversaries,” said Kelly. “We believe that together with our customers, we can play a vital role in developing and integrating leading-edge technologies into key national security missions to help our country and its allies preserve its space and cyber superiority.”
“Additionally, as a valuable partner to the growing commercial space market, our team is currently evaluating technology investments to provide innovative solutions addressing critical market needs,” he said. “I am excited to take the helm at such an important time and am focused on driving growth through innovation. We look forward to continuing this critical work in support of national security initiatives.”
Prior to Arcfield, Kelly served as president of CACI International’s national security and innovative solutions sector, where he reorganized its high-tech business with the creation of a $2.1B sector focused on inventing, developing, and delivering advanced solutions to industry leading C5ISR and counter-UAV national programs. Prior to that, Kelly was at LGS Innovations for more than 22 years in several roles including chief strategy officer, chief operations officer, and eventually chief executive officer. As CEO, he led the sale of LGS to a private equity partner in 2014 and eventually to CACI in 2019.
