Application security vendor WhiteHat Security has appointed Derek James as its regional director for UK & Ireland. James he will be responsible for WhiteHat’s business development strategy in the two territories.
Prior to joining WhiteHat Security, James was commercial director at cybersecurity consultancy, PTP Consulting.
“Derek brings to WhiteHat a deep understanding of security trends and technologies, extensive experience in IT sales, and a first-hand understanding of the nuances and needs of the UK and Ireland markets and customers,” said Richard Dobber, EMEA vice president sales, WhiteHat Security. “Derek will be working closely with both customers and our partners to further expand business across two of our key EMEA territories.”
