Citrix has appointed Craig Stilwell as vice president of worldwide partner strategy & sales. As new worldwide channel leader, Craig will draw from his extensive sales and channel leadership experience to invigorate our commitment to our partners and their long-term success and profitability.
Stillwell (pictured), who was previously head of US commercial sales at Citrix, replaces Kimberley Martin, who held the post until recently.
Citrix’s EVP of worldwide sales and services, Carlos Sartorius, revealed the news in a blog post, saying he was “thrilled” by the move.
“Many in the partner community already know Craig, who has been with Citrix for more than 17 years and understands our sales and channel strategy very well. We are thrilled to have him move into this very important position to lead our partner strategy and work with you all,” he said.
Sartorius said Stillwell will focus on: maintaining Citrix’s leadership in the enterprise market and increasing its presence in the midmarket; the major role the channel has to play in the move from on premise to the cloud, and reducing the complexity of Citrix’s channel programmes and making it easier for partners to do business with the vendor.
“As the new worldwide channel leader, Craig will draw from his extensive sales and channel leadership experience to invigorate our commitment to our partners and their long-term success and profitability,” he added.
“Craig’s experience heading up our US Commercial business and the Americas channel sales and field ops organisation will be invaluable,” said the channel chief.
Earlier this week, Citrix announced cloud exec MD Michelle Senecal de Fonseca as its VP for Northern Europe. She replaces Jacqueline de Rojas.
