Distributor Exclusive Networks UK has appointed a new sales director as part of its plans to break the £200m turnover mark in 2017.
Former Comstor and Wick Hill exec Richard Carpenter has been recruited to role as Exclusive also looks to become sole distributor to more vendors next year.
Exclusive has also recruited Lee Widdowson from Arrow ECS to manage sales out of its Chesterfield office.
“Our successful strategy of working in partnership with our vendors and partners has fueled our growth to date and these appointments signal our intent to continue this as we aim to break the £200m mark in 2017,” said Jones.
“As the pace of change in the security market increases it’s a great time to join the team and work with partners to deliver better, more comprehensive security solutions that enable customers to meet the complex and ever-changing security challenges they’re faced with,” said Carpenter (pictured)
Carpenter will report to Jones and, according to the distie, and look to deepen relationships with existing partners and bring Exclusive’s security solutions, services and support to new partners. Meanwhile Widdowson will focus on servicing and growing the partner base, especially SMB VARs, throughout the UK.
In addition to these two sales roles, Exclusive said its investment in sole distribution partnerships has resulted in its vendor alliances team being bolstered by the arrival of “a number of experienced people from within the channel.”
