Clouditalia is the latest managed service provider to deploy the new cloud data backup solution from Rubrik.
Rubrik has developed a “hyper-converged” appliance that supports data protection, search, analytics, archival and copy data management for hybrid cloud enterprises. MSPs using the hardware can offer backup services that compete with those from the likes of Veeam and Commvault.
At the same time it is eliminating the complexity and unreliability of legacy infrastructure for its clients, with a simplified offering for automated data management across on-premise and cloud workloads.
Marco Iannucci, CEO at Clouditalia, said: “Rubrik is undoubtedly the right answer to all our needs. It is very easy to use and scale, and allows us to guarantee instant data recovery – something we couldn’t do before. Thanks to Rubrik, we can move more of our resources from data protection tasks to other key tasks within our data centre.”
In the coming months, Clouditalia plans to implement Rubrik Edge, Rubrik’s software-only solution for remote and branch offices, to further extend its backup-as-a-service offerings for customers.
Bipul Sinha, CEO of Rubrik, said: “Rubrik’s Cloud Data Management solution enables Clouditalia to efficiently deliver more dynamic capabilities within its cloud services portfolio. Rubrik’s ease-of-use and public cloud scalability enables the company to address the entire Italian mid-market opportunity in a sustainable way.”
MSP Assured Data Protection in the UK also recently adopted the Rubrik platform, to offer similar services to the mid-market as Clouditalia.
