Unified communications vendor Swyx has announced its SwyxWare range is now fully supported by SIP trunking services provided by BT Wholesale, extending the choice of suppliers for voice termination for its UK channel partners.
Swyx International cloud manager Michael Landin said: “We are delighted to announce that BT’s Wholesale SIP Trunking service in the UK is now fully tested and approved to work with our SwyxWare range [BT sees it the other way round].
Gemma Hutchins, BT senior product manager, hosted communication services at BT Wholesale, said: “Further to successful interoperability testing we can confirm that SwyxWare is now fully authorised to be connected with our Wholesale SIP Trunking (WSIPT) platform, and we look forward to providing services to Swyx’s growing network of partners across the UK.”
Swyx operates a two-tier distribution model and has over 1,200 authorised resellers across Europe.
BT recently signed a similar SIP trunking deal with 3CX. 3CX’s software-based PBX has become available to UK resellers and their business customers via BT’s Wholesale and Ventures business. BT has incorporated 3CX equipment into its SIP Trunking platform, to allow UK resellers to connect SIP trunks using the 3CX PBX system.
