Video surveillance supplier Dahua Technology has signed a distribution deal with Mayflex.
Birmingham-based Mayflex specialises in IP CCTV solutions for VARs, installers, integrators and specifiers. The company already works with other manufacturers in access control, intruder alarms, perimeter protection and video analytics.
Gary Harmer, Mayflex director of sales, electronic security, said: “This relationship with Dahua will mean that we can meet an even wider range of client needs and increase our customer base.
“The Dahua product offering is comprehensive and we’re particularly looking forward to offering truly intelligent products such as their video analytics.”
Jennifer Ma, account manager at Dahua Technology UK, said: “This new partnership agreement means Dahua can reach out to an even wider customer base that will benefit from our video surveillance knowledge and expertise.
“We know that Mayflex has unrivalled distribution capability. The strong technical background of their staff means they can offer a genuine ‘value added’ contribution during the pre-sales process.”
The Dahua range will be available to purchase from Mayflex from 26 September. Dahua Technology had total sales of $1.6 billion in 2015, and has distribution partners in over 180 countries.
