Ensono acquires UK hybrid cloud MSP Attenda
Another UK cloud specialist bought by the yanks, who’s next with the help of a weak pound?
US firm Ensono has acquired Attenda, the UK-based provider of critical applications and hybrid IT managed services.
The addition of Attenda to the Ensono family extends the company’s reach to support its clients’ global operations, said Ensono, and strengthens its offerings across public clouds, dedicated infrastructure and mainframes.
Founded in 1997, Attenda has grown to become a leading managed services and cloud service provider, specialising in running business-critical applications. Attenda’s clients operate in a wide range of markets including financial services, media, business services and retail.
“Ensono’s expertise in managing mission-critical operations, coupled with the standardised platforms and services of Attenda in managed public and private cloud, helps accelerate Ensono’s strategy to enable its clients to operate seamlessly across multiple environments,” said Jeff VonDeylen, CEO of Ensono.
“With the integration of Attenda’s experience, capabilities and facilities, I believe partnering with Ensono becomes an even more compelling option for CIOs around the world.”
VonDeylen will lead the combined company. Mark Fowle, co-founder and CEO of Attenda, will join the Ensono board of directors.
Ensono has over 700 associates and is headquartered in Chicago. Attenda, based in Staines, has partner accreditations with Microsoft, AWS, VMware and SAP, among others.
The value of the acquisition has not been disclosed. The deal follows US firm Datapipe recently acquiring UK cloud MSP Adapt.
