Capita has acquired Westpoint, a specialist in the supply of technology and cyber security testing services, including vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, mobile application and social media testing.
Established in 1999 in Manchester, Westpoint works with customers from a wide range of sectors including finance, media, telecommunications, retail, utilities, manufacturing and local government.

Westpoint will strengthen our provision of specialist testing services and help us deliver ever more innovative cyber security solutions for our clients.”

The value of the acquisition has not been disclosed.
