A new technology event – Cloud UK Live – will see industry big names converge on Manchester next month.
The first in a series of free events, Cloud UK Live brings Manchester’s thriving tech scene into global focus, with the attendance of senior figures from Cisco, Microsoft, Dell and VMware.
Jones said: “Bringing these amazing companies to Manchester and showcasing our incredible tech community is a fantastic opportunity. Our city has so much to offer and it’s great to bring these global players here to help us continue to grow.
“Collaboration is the key to achieving our long-term goal of making Manchester the number one tech city in the UK.”
Other speakers include Jo Laking, UKI cloud director at Cisco; James Akrigg, head of technology for partners at Microsoft; and Peter Barnes, UK executive director at Dell.
Jones said: “Cloud is helping people transform their businesses and the event is about putting people in the best possible position to understand if cloud is for them and how they can get the best results from it.”
