Apogee to supply managed services to J Murphy & Sons

Global engineering and construction company J Murphy & Sons has chosen MSP Apogee to deliver a nationwide technology refresh, upgrading all of its document and print infrastructure.

Established in 1951, J Murphy & Sons has grown into a leading global specialist with turnover of £780 million, providing a wide range of construction services to sectors including rail, water, power and natural resources.

Apogee’s solutions will support over 300 sites as part of a “multi-million pound investment”. Nick Gorman, IT director at J Murphy & Sons, said: “Apogee have been our technology provider for eight years now. Their account management, service and expertise have proved invaluable, they understand our business.

The innovation they showed in this next phase is why they are our first-choice technology partner as we continue to grow.”

Lee Ironside, strategic accounts director at Apogee, said: “Our project management specialists will be implementing the new technology and I have no doubt the new infrastructure will deliver the supplier consolidation, cost-efficiencies and enhanced integration that the Murphy Group needs.”
