Global law firm Fieldfisher is reaping the benefits of remote and flexible working, thanks to a bespoke business mobility strategy deployed by IT services firm Intercity Technology.
Intercity has delivered a new tariff plan and mobile device refresh, allowing Fieldfisher’s employees to work remotely without worrying about data usage.
The IT specialist also provided assistance and on-site training to employees using the devices.
James Allen, head of professional services at Intercity Technology, said: “Within the legal sector it is critical that users have access to their information at all times, so a seamless mobility strategy was something we knew would have an immediate impact.
“Being on-site for the importing process and training ensured we covered all bases and delivered a strategy that would work from day one.”
Fieldfisher now receives constant reports and updates on data usage, both for the UK and overseas. Thanks to this, the firm says it has seen increased efficiency and “noticeable cost reductions”.
Mabel Evans, IT director at Fieldfisher, said: “Intercity is incredibly proactive with our account and the new bespoke tariff plan has provided excellent commercial savings.
“They also advocate regular customer service reviews, which result in strong working relationships. We now see Intercity as a true partner for our mobile services.”
