Logicalis UK has appointed Bob Swallow as managing director after previously being sales director of the Datatec-owned company.
He replaces Ben Gale, who didn’t stay long in the role after being appointed last September – he left after a few weeks for “personal reasons”. The previous incumbent left last February.
Prior to joining Logicalis, Swallow held senior sales positions at Dimension Data and Recite, as well as management roles at Datapoint and Chess Telecom.
“This is a fantastic time to be leading the UK business having restructured ourselves to meet the burgeoning needs of businesses looking to gain competitive advantage through digital transformation.”
Swallow said: “We’re seeing a decisive change in leadership priorities across the world. We understand that prioritising digital transformation is front of mind for many progressive-thinking organisations, and therefore we’ve spent the past 12-18 months adapting our own business to support and serve our customers on their digital transformation journeys.
“We anticipate growth in our core portfolio of solutions and services, investment in disruptive technologies and services, the simplification of our business processes, and to retain and attract the best people and skills in the industry.”
