Pure Storage has announced that Arrow Electronics is offering its All Flash Array (AFA) technology to service providers in the UK.
Making the announcement at Cloud Expo 2016 this week, Arrow will offer Pure’s technology as an operating expense with consumption based pricing.
Arrow will offer AFA across its network of enterprise computing solutions customers.
James Petter, VP EMEA, Pure Storage, said: “Managed service providers want to run their business operations with greater efficiency and profitability. Through this collaboration with Arrow Electronics, we can provide the channel the latest flash technology on a consumption basis.
“This can present a ten-fold improvement in performance and reliability, delivered without the need for heavy capital spend up front.”
As part of the offering, Arrow’s service providers will gain access to real-time performance, analytics and billing, thereby increasing control of their operating environment, said Pure. They will also gain access to continuous improvements and updates through an “evergreen lifecycle”.
