Cloud firm iland moves into The Shard

Infrastructure provider iland, which has data centres in both London and Manchester, has secured swanky new offices at The Shard tower in central London.

The offices on the 24th and 25th levels of The Shard will support iland’s further expansion of its cloud services and disaster recovery business in the UK and Europe, alongside providing an accessible meeting space for customers and partners in an iconic location.

The Shard is home to other companies such as Sage, Tiffany and Co. and Sapphire Systems. The move coincides with the recent appointment of Monica Brink as iland’s EMEA marketing director.

She has over ten years of global experience in product and channel marketing in the cloud computing and ERP sectors, and will be responsible for growing iland’s profile and brand in EMEA.

She said: “The location and accessibility of this wonderful office space will be ideal to bring clients in for meetings, and allows us to be right in the centre of London.”
