Atlantis Computing has announced a series of appointments to its senior leadership team to boost its software-defined storage (SDS) business.
David Cumberworth takes on the role of worldwide vice president of sales. Cumberworth has been with Atlantis for over five years, having worked previously as vice president of international sales, responsible for the growth of the business in EMEA and APAC. His new role will see him lead the global sales organisation.
Timm Hoyt becomes vice president of sales in North America. He joined Atlantis a year ago as vice president of worldwide partner sales and alliances. And Chris Plant has been appointed vice president of EMEA. Plant has five years of experience within the Atlantis EMEA team, having previously led the northern Europe sales operation.
“I am delighted to see that these senior appointments are all coming from within our existing team,” said Chetan Venkatash, CEO of Atlantis. “David, Rajiv, Timm and Chris are each ideally placed to drive customer and partner adoption of Atlantis USX SDS and HyperScale hyperconverged appliance solutions on a global and regional basis.”
