Cloud Innovation Awards shortlist announced

Finalists have been announced for the four categories of the NetEvents’ Cloud Innovation Awards 2016: Cloud/Datacenter Solution, Cloud Security Solution, SDN Solution for the Enterprise and Cloud Services for the Enterprise.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 17 March at an awards dinner co-located with the NetEvents EMEA Press & Analyst Summit in Rome, Italy. All proceeds from the dinner and awards go to the Prostate Project and the American Cancer Society.

This year’s finalists are, in alphabetical order, for the Cloud/Datacenter Solution: Dell Networking, Morpheus Data, NaviSite Europe. For the Cloud Security Solution the finalists are Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company; Cylance; Darktrace.

For the SDN Solution for the Enterprise: Arista Networks, Big Switch Networks, and Sonus Networks. For the Cloud Services for the Enterprise award: Dell Boomi, Red Hat, and Symphony.

The Cloud Innovation Awards are judged by an independent panel of international technology press and industry analysts from around the world.

The NetEvents EMEA Press & Analyst Summit is being held in the Aldrovandi Villa Borghese in Rome, Italy on 17 and 18 March. The two-day event offers a topical conference programme, head-to-heads and presentations by visionaries and industry analysts. The opening keynote speakers are: Dr Christian Busch, associate director, Innovation and Co-Creation Lab, London School of Economics; and Alessandro Talotta, chairman and CEO, Telecom Italia Sparkle.

Mark Fox, CEO, NetEvents, said: “These awards offer a rare opportunity to raise a company’s profile in front of the world’s leading media reaching a massive global audience of high-level decision makers. What’s more, these awards have also raised over $100,000 for cancer research charities to-date.”
