Systems integrator Axians Networks has appointed Russell Crampin as its new UK managing director with immediate effect. The company is part of VINCI Energies UK and RoI.
The company said the new MD will “shape and develop solutions to enable customers to maximise new market opportunities”. Crampin will head up Axians Networks’ board of directors and report to Axians’ executive chairman Rochdi Ziyat, who is also CEO of VINCI Energies UK and RoI.
Ziyat said: “Russell brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in delivering business value to customers’ utilising innovative solutions. His industry experience and commercial acumen is an invaluable asset as we look to re-affirm Axians as the ‘go to network partner’ of choice for the service provider and research and education sectors.”
Crampin said: “I am joining Axians at a significant time of growth and investment and welcome the opportunity to help customers exploit the new opportunities we are seeing in the industry.”
