Atos company Unify has announced a partnership with IT services firm telent to offer Unify’s OpenScape Voice solution as part of its new telentConnect service.
OpenScape Voice is a carrier-grade native SIP-based platform that is scalable up to 100,000 users per system, plus a virtually unlimited number of users when OpenScape Voice systems are networked.
For telent and its customers, OpenScape Voice will provide a complete set of UC features, such as the One Number Service and Presence alongside other utilities such as conferencing and collaboration tools for employees.
“With OpenScape Voice we have access to a truly carrier-grade modern communications platform. With our extensive expertise and knowledge across a variety of vertical markets, we’re excited by the possibilities of bringing the capabilities of modern communications as a service to these areas.”
Barry Tuffs, vice president for UK and Ireland channels at Unify, said: “This is a natural step for telent given its continued business growth. We’ve had a great, long-standing relationship with telent over the past decade and we look forward to working together to bring modern communications to businesses across the UK and Ireland.”
Atos recently completed its acquisition of Unify from Siemens.
