The Welsh government’s National Procurement Service (NPS) has confirmed the names of the companies that will be part of its IT products and services framework, which is worth up to £800 million.
The framework is now available for the whole of the Welsh public sector to use. The framework has been awarded across 12 commodity lots to the following companies:

Microsoft corporate licensing: Comparex, Insight Direct, Softcat
End user hardware: Centerprise International, Computacenter, Insight Direct, Softcat, Specialist Computer Centres, XMA
Infrastructure software: Computacenter, Insight Direct, Kelway, Softcat, Specialist Computer Centres
Servers, storage devices: Computacenter, Dell, Insight Direct, Softcat, Specialist Computer Centres
Network equipment: Centerprise International, Computacenter, Insight Direct, Misco, Softcat
Network firewalls: Computacenter, Insight Direct, Softcat
AV equipment: Centerprise International, Comcen Computer Supplies, Millennium Business Systems
Education end user devices: Centerprise International, Misco, XMA
Peripherals: Centerprise International, Insight Direct, Softcat
Integrated solutions: Computacenter, Insight Direct, Softcat, Specialist Computer Centres, XMA
NPS said it will be arranging customer launch events for public sector bodies to meet suppliers in March 2016, with details to follow shortly. NPS is working with the successful suppliers and Procserve to develop eTrading Wales marketplace information.
