Juniper Networks revamps partner programme

Juniper Networks has announced several updates to its Juniper Partner Advantage programme including new certifications, marketing tools and courses for partners.

Juniper is introducing a data centre specialisation, aimed at helping partners grow their businesses with Juniper Networks’ private, public and hybrid cloud offerings. There is also a new solutions specialist design track with a focus on network architecture and design.

In addition, there are new lead generation features in the Juniper Marketing Concierge (JMC) including social selling, and there also additional courses to the company’s Partner Learning Academy.

Matt Hurley, corporate VP for worldwide partners and field marketing said Data Centre Specialisation partners will be endorsed and integrated as part of the data centre go-to-market community within Juniper sales and marketing teams, delivering data centre solutions to end-customers.

Partners can choose the Data Centre Specialisation path that ties closest to their cloud focus by demonstrating technical competency and expertise in the data centre space.

Hurley added: “In 2016 we will also be implementing a new solutions specialist design track with a focus on network architecture and design. Our goal is to improve programme alignment with systems engineer roles and job functions. It will allow our partners to optimise training investments and it will be more relevant for engineers in the field.”

On the direct selling side, last year it was announced that Juniper Networks was to build a private cloud data centre and IP/MPLS core backbone for British Airways, to run the applications that underpin the airline’s operations, including ticketing, check-in and baggage tracking.
