Quorum appoints first disaster recovery reseller in Scotland

Quorum has expanded its reach across the UK, signing its first Scottish reseller, UK Business Continuity. Based in Edinburgh, UK Business Continuity has “strong ties” to SMB customers, said Quorum.

Quorum offers its “one click” disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS). UK Business Continuity already provides a disaster recovery service across Scotland with strong connections in the legal and financial services markets.

Due to Quorum’s “ease of use” and “robust PCI certified technology” its solutions are suited for both SMB organisations and vertical customers handling sensitive data, said Quorum.

As a partner, UK Business Continuity will have full access to Quorum’s channel programme and the reseller agreement will also offer a Quorum presence at various trade shows throughout the year.

George Berrich, CEO of UK Business Continuity, said: “Quorum is a perfect fit for our business, the solutions can be seemlessly integrated by customers and the technology provides a complete DR platform.

Quorum’s solutions fit with what we do and will allow us to continue to offer expert DR and business continuity (BC) across the UK market.”

David Fisk, EMEA sales director at Quorum, said: “This is an exciting partnership and we look forward to working with UK Business Continuity closely to help spread our reach across the UK market.

UK Business Continuity prides itself on offering DR and BC and we are pleased to work with them to help offer customers a complete DRaaS platform, bridging the gap between traditional expensive DR and BC.”

In March this year, Quorum said that in the EMEA region it had gone from having four partners at the beginning of 2014 to 28 then.
