Flash storage provider Pure has brought in Arrow as it regional distributor for the EMEA region, as part of it two-tier distribution strategy announced earlier this year.
Pure said Arrow will add “extensive value” in the region with incremental services such as deal registration and proof-of-concept management.
James Petter (pictured), VP EMEA at Pure Storage, said: “It is imperative that there is support from distributors such as Arrow across a region in order to meet the needs of our rapidly expanding channel base.”
He said: “Our partnership with Arrow in EMEA is central to our strategy and will expand Pure Storage’s reach within markets and across countries, boost VAR recruitment, and maintain our commitment to operating as a channel-focused business with approximately 50 percent of the transactions sourced by partners. Arrow will offer comprehensive value and choice to our partners.”
Resellers who join Pure Storage’s P3 Partner Programme will be able to work with Arrow and other distributors throughout EMEA. Adding a regional distribution tier in international markets will broaden support for new customers, said Pure.
