Cube52, a private and hybrid cloud company for the channel, has just been launched by two industry veterans.
The Cube52 platforms can be white labelled to enable resellers to build and deploy their own branded applications on an infrastructure that can scale, from a dedicated private cloud to a fully elastic public cloud.
Cube52’s technology is centred on its intuitive self-service cloud portal that provides a single point of access, configuration and 24×7 control. Munson and Ellis have reinvested £3 million from their sale of BlueSquare Data, the data centre based provider of colocation services, which they sold in 2010. They have spent the last two years developing Cube52.
“Resellers have to broaden the scope of their offerings for their increasingly cloud-savvy customer base,” said Munson, CTO of Cube52. “We are at the forefront of that mission by allowing resellers to white label Cube52’s offerings, so that they can in turn offer scalable on premise, private and hybrid cloud solutions to their own customers under their own brand. They are totally portable with no tie ins.”
Cube52 says it operates a partner programme to extend the benefits of its cloud solutions to partners and their customers. Whether a partner is considering adding cloud services to their business for the first time, or has been investing in their cloud capability for some years, Cube52’s partner programme can help further their offerings, Munson said. The infrastructure service is offered across multiple UK data centres.
