Sales to resellers, managed service providers and independent software vendors was the main driver for Paessler’s 38 percent growth in the UK in the past twelve months.
The network monitoring specialist, based in Nuremberg, Germany, saw resellers, managed service providers, ISVs and hosting companies account for nearly a third (32 percent) of overall sales.
Paessler’s channel partners, together with IT solutions providers, hosting providers and ISVs purchased PRTG for use in their own environments, both to monitor their own solutions and provide managed services for their clients.
Sales via the channel overall were a major contributor to Paessler’s 2014 success, with reseller sales growing by 45 percent. The company signed up a total of 36 new sales partners, including ADA Networks, Krome Technologies, NCE Europe, Open Reality and Principal.
Rupert Collier, senior channel manager for the UK and Ireland at Paessler, said, “Last year was another successful year for Paessler – not just in the UK, but worldwide. The very fact that nearly a third of our sales went to companies within the IT sector itself shows that PRTG is well-regarded as a high quality product and an invaluable monitoring solution.”
