PrecisionPoint signs North American distributor deal for BI solution
The company has signed Armanino, an accounting and business consulting firm based in California, to push its business intelligence solution
PrecisionPoint, the global business Iintelligence (BI) software developer, has announced it has signed a distribution partnership agreement with Armanino, an accounting and business consulting firm based in California and one of the largest Microsoft Dynamics Partners in North America.
Under the terms of the agreement, Armanino becomes the exclusive North America distributor for PrecisionPoint. Armanino is a Microsoft Inner Circle and Gold Certified Microsoft Dynamics ERP/CRM partner, and among the top 1 percent of partners in the world, with over 1000 Dynamics customers.
As part of the agreement, PrecisionPoint’s North American staff will be joining the Armanino consulting team with immediate effect to ensure a smooth transition for existing clients.
The partnership will allow PrecisionPoint, it says, to become more focused on product development and on the delivery of robust data warehouse and reporting capabilities for Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems.
PrecisionPoint says it has a strong customer base in Mexico, Canada and the US, which includes high profile customers such as Brightstar, Intematix, FitFlop, BTI and Ken Blanchard Companies, that rely on its software to simplify access to decision critical BI.
PrecisionPoint and Armanino have worked together informally on a number of successful client projects over the course of the last three years, and on the development of Armanino’s Dynamic Insights solution, which integrates the PrecisionPoint data warehouse to provide easy-to-use dashboards to maximise efficiency and data flow.
Michael Evans, CEO of PrecisionPoint, said: “Armanino is the perfect partner to build on the success of PrecisionPoint in North America across a variety of industries. The potential for Armanino’s Dynamic Insights, which combines the PrecisionPoint data warehouse solution with QlikView to provide easy-to-use executive, sales and finance dashboards in just two to three weeks, instead of months or years like other standalone BI solutions, is enormous.”
The agreement only relates to sales and the support of PrecisionPoint in North America. There is no change to existing arrangements in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world, said the company.
