James Stevenson Leaves Citrix To Join The Angels

Citrix has made a change to its Emea channel management line-up with the appointment of Jacqueline de Rojas as area vice president for Northern Europe. She replaces James Stevenson who will leave the company on 1 August.

Stevenson (pictured above) said he planned to pursue his interests in the early-stage tech company and angel investments field.

Broad experience

De Rojas (pictured below) has extensive sales and leadership experience having worked as vice president and general manager for CA Technologies in the UK and Ireland before joining Citrix. She will report to Carlos Sartorius, vice president and general manager for Citrix Emea and will take over responsibility for the growth and development of operations across Northern Europe cultivating the company’s valued partner ecosystem.

She said her main aim will be to drive awareness of virtual and mobile workspaces across the region, as virtualisation, mobility management, networking and cloud services technologies take hold with channel partners’ customers.

“This is an exciting time for Citrix technologies to help businesses across the region embrace flexible working, foster self-service and create more agile IT environments. My decision to join Citrix was clear from the outset: the future of work is mobile.”, she explained.

De Rojas has brought over 25 years’ experience of working with leading technology businesses and, prior to CA, she worked with McAfee and Novell.

She is very much involved in the promotion of IT as a career market for women and serves on the board of TechUK as the Champion for Women in Technology and has also been a judge for the Everywoman Women in Technology awards for the past three years.

As an active member of the Prince’s Trust Technology Leadership Group, de Rojas has been involved in its scheme to provide vulnerable young people with the practical and financial support needed to develop self-esteem and skills for work. She also serves as a non-executive director on the board of the Home Retail Group, which embraces Argos and Homebase.
