BT Wins £20m Contract To Give Adecco Cloud and BYOD

BT Business has won a £20 million five-year network and IT Services contract with global employment agency Adecco Group. Under the deal it will help Adecco cut costs by moving it to the cloud and installing a bring your own device (BYOD) infrastructure.

By converting the human resources company to a user of cloud based services, BT Business will move Adecco to a utility pricing model.

The contract covers the supply and management of a new voice and data network, cloud-based telephony and IT Services. The deal also includes a BT IT support team, along with the replacement of 3,000 in-branch computers and laptops.

The contract will pave the way for Adecco’s BYOD programme to throw off the constraints of the office estate and helps staff get closer to clients, according to BT Business.

“This is a landmark deal for us, and comes as a result of the significant investment we’ve made in IT Services over the last two years,” said Graham Sutherland, CEO of BT Business. “ We have worked closely with Adecco to understand how technology can help them achieve their business objectives.”

The BT Business team captured the imagination, according to Adecco. “It had a unique approach and solution to the challenges we face as a business,” said Brad Dowden, Adecco’s global head of branch office. “We set a very wide brief, but the BT Business programme will allow us to change the way we work, making teams more flexible and effective, while helping us to drive down costs by only paying for what we use.”
