Exinda Opens A Wider Front With Cloud Distribution
Enterprise mobility doesn’t have to mean an organisation is all over the place
Cloud Distribution has signed a deal with WAN-optimising vendor Exinda to offer its network control systems to reseller partners.
The distribution partnership will target the enterprise networking market in which Cloud Distribution claimed to have specialised knowledge. The distributor’s network and security practice will be a key component of the joint strategy, Exinda said.
Enterprise mobility
Exinda, which was recognised by Gartner Research as a “Visionary” in its 2013 Magic Quadrant for WAN Optimisation Controllers, needed an “equally innovative” distribution partner, said Kevin Kirksey, Exinda’s vice president of global sales. “The partnership builds on both companies’ reputations,” he said.
Exinda technology is currently installed in 3,000 mid and large size enterprises in response to IT challenges created by the modern tendency to bring your own device (BYOD), migrate cloud applications and control internet traffic.
Cloud Distribution’s director Adam Davison said he could no longer ignore the vendor as it has hit the suite spot. “I see first-hand the impact they are making in the market with their unique approach to network management. No others can provide network visibility, WAN and internet control and application optimisation in a single suite. Our resellers will appreciate this,” he said.
With many companies increasingly distributed, their organisation is literally all over the place, he warned. “An increasingly distributed and mobile network is often one that cannot contend with the demands being placed on it,” Davison added.
