Dell has announced the release of its Cloud Dedicated Services to deliver private clouds to customers.
Organisations will now be able to access infrastructure as a service (IaaS) from a secured Dell data centre, adding to its current public and hybrid cloud models.
Dell Cloud Dedicated can assign individual servers to each customer, but without the initial outlay that would be required for organisations usually. Servers can also be coupled with a variety of storage, networking, and managed service options.
The new cloud offering aimed at enterprise customers will coincide with the launch of an online ordering platform for Dell customers to purchase preconfigured bundles or on demand compute capacity.
Dell will also begin its global expansion of public and hybrid cloud services into the UK, Ireland, France and Mexico.
