Networking and security specialist LAN3 has seen revenues soar in the past twelve months, doubling staff headcount, and also bagging Platinum partner status.

LAN3 announced it has notched up 85 percent revenue growth in the year upto May, up from £2.9 million in 2011 to £5.1 million this year.   At the same time the vendor has expanded its staff count, doubling from 11 to 22 employees.

In addition to this, LAN3, which provides hardware and software for networking services, has achieved Platinum partner status with Extreme Networks.   With rapid growth, this was achieved in 18 months, having originally joined as a Silver partner.

“We have built solid foundations in terms of our team and fostered strong relationships with vendors and distributors, all chosen for their best-of-breed products and services, enabling us to offer disruptive technologies that don’t just work, but change the way our customers operate in their own environments.”

The stage is now set for further growth for further growth LAN3 says, with its eyes on £7.1 million in revenues for the next 12 months, on the back of an expansion into datacentre products and a fully managed cloud service.
