Zertificon wants to woo the UK channel, and has devised a programme to get resellers and others onside.
The move comes as the specialist providers of Email Encryption, Signature and Certificate Management Appliances for Enterprise, opened its first UK offices earlier this year.
It says since its inception in 2004, it has grown rapidly, working with a community of over 50 partners including HP, Integralis, Computacenter and Siemens Business Services.
Dr. Burkhard Wiegel, Zertificon UK country manager, said: “Our partner community across Europe consists of both larger system integrators and specialists that have helped us serve some of the largest financial services and public sector organisations across the region.
“We are the only vendor within this space that focuses solely on end to end communication security by offering an integrated platform for e-mail encryption, secure file transfer and certificate management.
“We are well established in the DACH (Switzerland, Germany and Austria) region and our expansion into the UK has been prompted by increased demand, especially from our international customers,” he added.
The new UK channel recruitment drive is said to help build and support a community of partners that want to offer highly efficient email encryption and signature solutions suited for both B2B and B2C enterprise email communication.
For IT service partners working within a market saturated with anti-virus, spam and DLP solutions; Dr. Wiegel said there was an opportunity for growth within secure communications where encryption and certificate management is needed to meet growing compliance and security requirements.
“Our intention is to work with a select group of UK partners to extend training and technical support to help them successfully deliver high value projects. Many of our clients within the DACH region have similar requirements to UK counterparts and there is an untapped potential for channel partners to expand their solution portfolios,” he said.
