Wincor Nixdorf and ScanSource have announced they are to form a partnership, nay, more like a relationship.
The pairing of the retail services provider and the value-added distributor of automatic data collection, EPOS and mobility services, is claimed to allow ScanSource resellers to access Wincor Nixdorf’s range of EPOS products.
The duo claims that these products will allow their resellers to deliver “excellent service levels” to their customers through fast check out speeds, and cashier efficiency with “superfast” touchscreens and printers, all at a low cost of ownership.
The partnership will work with ScanSource, which currently provides technology and value-added services to resellers across Europe, offering the same Wincor Nixdorf EPOS products across Europe.
The move comes as Wincor Nixdorf looks to bring the efficiencies and cutting-edge technology, which it claims is normally used by larger retail outlets to the EPOS reseller marketplace.
Bert Fonderie, Vice President Merchandising, ScanSource Europe, said: “Through this partnership resellers will gain access to Wincor Nixdorf’s market-leading EPOS solutions.
“With hardware solutions that are tried and tested in the retail, hospitality and kiosk environment, we can offer even more solutions to minimise power consumption and deliver maximum availability that perfectly complement our reseller partners’ industry-leading software solutions.”
