Trustmarque bags NHS Scotland framework contract worth over £20 million
VAR lands big contract to deliver software and services
Infrastructure and software VAR Trustmarque has landed a contract worth over £20 million to provide services for a new NHS framework.
All NHS organisations in Scotland can now purchase software and services through the framework, with Trustmarque providing expertise to NHS boards.
Trustmarque says that intelligent software procurement and cost avoidance strategies will be put in place to help keep cost to the NHS at a reasonable level, while helping move to more advanced technologies.
The contract sees Trustmarque build on the public sector business it already has with the NHS in England, with a contract worth “in excess of £20 million” as well as any additional revenues expected through services. The value added reseller also recently bagged a deal with Plymouth City council to update systems to Windows 7, and has now increased its business over the other side of Hadrian’s Wall.
“The competition was fierce, but I believe our understanding of the specific needs of NHS organisations coupled with our proven track record in delivering consistent value, expertise and service, were pivotal factors in our success,” said Mark Garrity regional sales director for Trustmarque in Scotland.
