Fujitsu is looking to sign up more resellers to take its Celsius range to market.
The new strategy follows the company’s launch of the Celsius R920 model, which has been given a new new marketing campaign that will raise awareness of the benefits of the range ahead of a major refresh of the line later this year.
New resellers are required to help take the range to market, with a particular emphasis on the flagship R920 product, which is claimed to help partners to break into new accounts.
The R920 workstation is claimed by the company to be a platform for the most demanding and power-hungry graphics-based applications.
It has cold-plug access for front-loading drives, the latest Intel Xeon processor and Intel C600 series chipset, multi-core processors, next-generation graphical modelling subsystems, quad-channel memory technology and a high-speed disk drive. There’s also a memory capacity of up to 512GB.
These features are said to enable the workstation to support extreme desktop visualisation and personal supercomputing environments in a variety of fields, including mechanical and electrical engineering, digital content creation, visualisation, virtual reality, simulation and geo-sciences.
Craig Parker, head of product marketing at Fujitsu, said: “We are really going to start making some noise in the workstation market. We already have a strong line-up and with the R920 and the other new models we have coming, the Celsius line is going to get even stronger.

Our partner programme focuses on delivering results and with the new SELECT Expert accreditation for Workstations – resellers can now get access to tools and resources that will help them to win new business.”
