Big Data Partnership will become the first certified training partner in the UK for Hadoop specialist Hortonworks.
This will see Big Data Partnership joining up to Hortonworks’ system integrator and certified training delivery partnership programmes.
The partnership will mean the Big Data Partnership will be able to bring Hadoop to enterprise customers, as interest in big data analytics continues to increase. Syncsort also announced a deal with Hortonworks recently to make use of its DataPlatform to offer big data analysis.
The partnership will allow customers to build big data applications, using Hortonworks Hadoop know-how, and Big Data Partnership’s local market knowledge.
“We have seen an upsurge in awareness and interest in Big Data leading to a rapid increase in the adoption of Hadoop platforms in the UK and Europe,” said Mike Merritt-Holmes, CEO & Co-founder, Big Data Partnership.
“The Hortonworks Certified Apache Hadoop Developer and Administrator courses stand out as unique through their development by the industry’s foremost Hadoop experts including the original creators of Hadoop at Yahoo! and committee members.”
“Big Data Partnership is delighted to be the first company to bring these outstanding courses to the European market, empowering customers with real-life actionable skills to develop, implement and administer cutting-edge Hadoop solutions.”
