Computacenter said it has been awarded Red Hat Premier Business Partner status in the UK.
The IT infrastructure provider will be given the highest level of accreditation for its work with Red Hat on open source products.
Computacenter is now one of Red Hat’s top partners, having expanded its open source business by over 50 percent in the past year.
Red Hat says that Computacenter, which already has Premier accreditation in other parts of Europe, has succeeded in providing technical expertise for customers, and will duly receive a bump up the partner programme.
“We’ve been a Red Hat partner for several years and are pleased to be recognised as a Red Hat Premier Business Partner,” said Computacenter’s senior practice leader for Cloud, Paul Casey.
“The extensive resources and tools available to Red Hat Premier Business Partners mean that we can continue to expand our innovative IT solutions with the added benefit of invaluable support from Red Hat.”
