CA Technologies hands out partner awards at Horizon Summit

CA Technologies has dished out awards to its European partners at its Data Management Partner Horizon Summit taking place in Spain, with Cristie Data bagging VAR of the Year.

Six resellers and distributors were each handed an EMEA Channel Award for pushing for new data management opportunities in a rapidly changing market.

UK firm Cristie Data was awarded Value Added Reseller of the Year, while Sandhill Consultants was recognised for Reseller Marketing Campaign of the Year.

Distributor Marketing Campaign of the Year went to Tech Data, while Computer Gross Italia bagged Distributor of the Year.

Insight France was CA’s LAR Partner of the Year, while Rudiger Frank of German firm TIM AG was singled out as CA’ Sales Specialist of the Year.

“I’m so pleased to be able to recognise our partners and distributors for their hard work throughout the last year,” said Chris Ross, VP of Growth Market, EMEA Nimsoft and Data Management, CA Technologies.

“They have displayed tremendous commitment to CA Technologies, innovative marketing campaigns and substantial year-on-year sales growth.”

Around 200 CA partners came from across Europe to attend the second annual data management shindig running from May 14-16.
